Meet Emmanuel

Emmanuel did not start Top Dog Garage Doors because it was the easiest path — he started it because he knew he could do it better.

A United States Air Force veteran and FAA-licensed technician, Emmanuel brings a level of mechanical precision and technical discipline to garage door work that most companies in this industry simply cannot match. His background spans military service, commercial aviation, and formal engineering education — environments where attention to detail is not optional and getting it wrong is not acceptable.

He holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and a Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University — one of the world's most respected aviation and engineering institutions. That combination of hands-on technical ability and continuous improvement thinking shapes how Top Dog Garage Doors operates at every level, from how jobs are scheduled to how technicians are trained.

Emmanuel applies the same standard to a garage door service call that he learned across years of high-stakes technical work — show up prepared, do the job correctly, and never cut corners because it is inconvenient. That philosophy is why Top Dog already has a reputation for taking on jobs other companies walk away from, and why homeowners across Metro Atlanta trust the team he has built.

Mauricio brings three and a half years of hands-on experience in the garage door industry, with a strong background in both residential and commercial work. Before joining Top Dog Garage Doors, he worked on the supplier side of the industry, where he developed extensive knowledge of garage door products, parts, and systems.

That supplier experience gives Mauricio a deep understanding of how different garage door systems work and how their components fit together — knowledge he puts to use diagnosing and completing every job correctly. He takes pride in providing knowledgeable, honest, and dependable service, and in making sure each job is done properly and safely.

Originally from El Salvador, Mauricio has a natural passion for working with his hands, and outside of work he's an enthusiast of Japanese cars. That same attention to detail and curiosity about how things work carries directly into his craft as a garage door technician.

Mauricio's goal is simple: to provide every customer with quality workmanship, clear communication, and a positive experience from start to finish.
